Plant-based chocolate mousse

This chocolate mousse is delicious! Super simple recipe to put together when you are craving chocolate or when you’re organizing a dinner party and don’t have a lot of time to make dessert. Not only is this recipe super simple it’s also a healthy version of a classic chocolate mousse. It’s refined sugar free – free from dairy and high in protein. Instructions: Put the silken tofu together with the date syrup, vanilla extract and pinch of salt in a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.

Put a pan with water on the stove on high heat. Put the chocolate callets into a small bowl (a bowl that is resistant to boiling water) and put in in the pan with boiling water. This way you can melt the chocolate au bain-marie.

Take the pan of the stove when the chocolate is fully melted. Put the melted chocolate in the high speed blender together with the tofu mixture.

Mix until smooth, place the chocolate mouse into small bowls or glassed. Put them in the fridge for minimum 2 hours.

Serve it with your favourite toppings (fresh raspberries, strawberries, cocoa nibs,..) Enjoy!
