Frosting on a cake, muffin, cupcake or banana bread is so delicious. Unfortunately the most frosting recipes aren’t that healthy. We would love to share with you our healthy frosting recipe so you can enjoy it guilt free! It is not only delicious but also nutritious!
- 2 handfuls of soaked cashews
- 150ml of coconut milk (preferable the thick coconut milk you scrape of the top of a can coconut milk
- date syrup 1-2 tbsp
- squeeze of half a lime
Instructions: Soak your cashews overnight in lukewarm water. Drain your cashew the next day and mix them (in a high speed blender) with the coconut milk, lime juice and date syrup. Put the frosting in the fridge to thicken or use them on your cake, muffin.. right away. Enjoy!
